Matteo Nunziati

Matteo Nunziati, renowned Italian architect and designer has conceived for Fiam the Table in curved glass Varesina, the cupboard Varesina and the coffee table Quadra.

In 2000 he established his own studio in Milan, dealing with interior architecture and design and working in partnership with major companies in the field of furniture, lightening and houseware. In particular he is specialised in designing Luxury hotels, , Wellness Centres and Spas and residential areas. His projects have reached Italy, Switzerland, Poland, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Maldives and China. He also projects settings for exhibitions, shows and trade fairs.

Since 2004 he has been working as a professor for several design schools such as the Domus Academy, the National Taipei University of Technology in Taiwan and the creative IDI Interior Design Institute in Milan.

Since 2009 he has been participating in many prestigious lectures organised by the Federlegno Arredo in collaboration with ICE (Italian Chamber of Commerce for international trade) and with the Italian government to represent Italian Design in the world (Qatar, Lebanon, Egypt, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Latvia, Estonia, Switzerland etc. ).

His projects have been published in the most important Italian and international magazines of design. Moreover, SKY TV has dedicated 4 episodes to Matteo Nunziati where the architect talks about his professional experiences in the design sector.

As far as industrial and product design is concerned, Matteo has had the prestigious opportunity to work in partnership with leading companies, such as Molteni&C, Poliform, Flou, Lema, Matteograssi, Poltrona Frau, I 4 Mariani, FIAM, Schiavon, Gruppo Martini Illuminazione, Fontana Arte, La Murrina, Teuco, Rapsel, Tonon, Lualdi Porte and Listone Giordano.

Matteo Nunziati has also won many prestigious awards including among the most recent: the good Design Award in 2011 for the coffee table Dali by Matteograssi and the Cityscape Award in 2013 for the best architectural project.

He also participated to several expositions such as “50+2y Italian design” at the National Art Museum of China in Beijing and to events such as “ Brand and Designers China Initiative 2006” in Shenzhen in China. He organised some events himself on the occasion of fairs such as “Abitare il Tempo”, “Mipim”, “Cityscape” and the “Salone internazionale del mobile”.
