Studio Klass
The collaboration between FIAM and Studio Klass has led to the creation of many pieces of furniture in curved glass: Magique and Magique Side coffee tables, Magique Totem display cabinet, Foulard shelf, Plié collection that includes chair, table and cupboard and the collection of coffee tables: Lands.
Marco Maturo and Alessio Roscini founded Studio Klass in 2009. It mainly operates in industrial design. Their work starts from the analysis of what we see and is needed to achieve unusual solutions. Their products exhort the observer to evaluate the reality from a new point of view by questioning the archetype of the object.
From 2009 Maturo and Roscini are teachers at IED – European Institute of Design in Milan.
Collaborations, publications and exhibitions
Studio Klass works in partnership with different prestigious realities such as Artsana Group – Chicco, Mercedes Home Collection, Diamantini & Domeniconi, Laboratorio Pesaro, Busso, Bussolari, Compagnucci S.p.a., FIAM and Bottega Conticelli.
In 2011 his studio was selected by the magazine Case da Abitare as one of the 20th most promising under-35 Italian design studio .
Their works have been published on the main international magazines (Case da Abitare, Interni King Size 2011, Maison Française, Marie Claire Maison France, Marie Claire Maison Italy, On Diseño, Casa Living Korea, Deco Journal Korea) and have been exhibited during majior events such as Fuorisalone di Milano, Tent London, Triennale di Milano, Spazio Ex-Gil di Roma, Fondazione Bevilacqua La Masa di Venezia and Meet Design.
